-: Detailed Day Wise Itinerary :-

Day 1 – Train from Kolkata. (Train after 11 pm. Over Night in train)

Day 2 – Full Day and Over night in the train.

Day 3 – Upon reaching Jammu at noon around 12:30 PM, we will travel to Patnitop. (110 km / 3   Hrs) check-in to your designated hotel and enjoy the remaining evening at leisure. Enjoy the weather and a good night’s sleep. Night stay at Patnitop.

Day 4 –  Drive from Patnitop to Pahalgam (160 km / approx. 4.5 hours):

After breakfast, depart for Pahalgam. Drive through the green pine forest and along the Lidder River. En route we will visit Anantnag. Through out the journey we will pass several tunnels including  famous Jawahar Lal Tunnel (2504 mtrs long). On arrival at Pahalgam, check into your Hotel. Enjoy local sightseeing of Pahalgam. Overnight stay at Pahalgam.

Day 5 –  Pahalagam Sight seeing and Night stay.

After Breakfast, visit famous sights from Indian film industry ( Bollywood), Baisaran view point, Aru valley, Betab Valley, Lidder River. (Chandanwari, the base camp of Amarnath Yatra, by horses or car at own cost).  Pahalgam is also famous for trekking and various activities like: river rafting skiing. Enjoy the natural beauty and river Lidder and Stay there for the night.

Day 6 –  Drive from Pahalgam to Srinagar (90 km/approx. 2 hours):

After breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to Srinagar. Arrive at Srinagar & check into your hotel / houseboat. Evening enjoy Shikara Ride which covers Charchinar, Floating Gardens, Canals etc. Dinner & Overnight Srinagar.

Day 7 – Srinagar Sight seeing and Night stay.

After breakfast leave for local sightseeing tour to famous Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal Emperor Asif Khan. Then visiting Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa) also visit Chashme Shahi. Later visit to famous Pari Mahal, Shankaracharya temple situated on top of a hill where you can have a view of whole Srinagar City. Later you can visit the world famous Tulip garden in Srinagar. Enjoy shopping at Kashmiri craft & art stores. Dinner & overnight at Srinagar. 

Day 8 – Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (170 km) 

After breakfast, full day tour of Sonamarg (meadow of gold), it has sheer scenic splendor. The very way-a metalled road – snakes through massive mountains laden with forests and firs. After a breath taking journey from Srinagar you come across Sindh meanders that are abounded with trout & Mahseer. Onwards the valley opens up to a meadow. (Ponies can be hired for a trip up to Thajiwas glacier – a major attraction during the summer months. At own cost) Sonmarg’s importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. You will be fascinated to see snowy mountains against a cerulean sky against its backdrop. Evening return back to Srinagar. Dinner & Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 9 – Drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg (50 km/approx. 1.5 hours)

After breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to Gulmarg. It is one of the most beautiful hill stations and also called “Meadows of Flower”. It has world’s highest golf course and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports like skiing. On arrival at Gulmarg, check into your Hotel. Afternoon enjoy guided sightseeing of Gulmarg also enjoy (Gondola ride Cable car etc. at own cost) from Gulmarg to Khilan. Overnight stay at Gulmarg.         

Day 10 – Drive from Gulmarg to Srinagar Airport (50 km/approx. 1.5 hours)

END OF TOUR

Onward Journey By: Train / Flight from Kolkata to Jammu.

Return Journey By: Train from Jammu / Flight from Srinagar.
